Mushroom and Fondue Workshops

Centre sportif de Mauvernay
Chalet-à-Gobet, Lausanne

The official mushroom inspector and his colleagues await you in the upper reaches of the town for this afternoon.

Meet up at Chalet-à-Gobet to comb the undergrowth in search of chanterelles, boletes, and other mushrooms. At the end of the harvest, the mushrooms will be officially inspected, and the toxic and inedible species rejected. The remaining mushrooms can be used for your omelets the following day.

Following the inspection, it’s time for the dried boletus fondue, and in local fashion, the event ends with a double cream meringue.
