Farms’ visits

Amburnex farm

Wednesday September 2, 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A little bit of Lausanne on the ridge of the Jura Vaudois. Amburnex’s pasture was bought by the city at the beginning of the 19th century. Two hundred years later, Gruyère is still made with wood fire and is regularly awarded! You will see a milking demonstration, followed by an explanation of the alpine pasture cheese production’s secrets. Finally, and to complete this beautiful day, you will be able to taste the Ferme des Amburnex’s products.

Access by car only (approximately 1h drive from Lausanne)
