Cinema and gastronomy have always gone hand in hand. We’re joining forces with the Festival cinémas d’Afrique to take you on a journey to North Africa for an evening. An alternating moment between the 7th art and culinary discoveries. Get ready for a sensory voyage punctuated by short films and gourmet moments.

Le Festival cinémas d’Afrique is an annual event, the only one of its kind in Switzerland, offering an original program of films from or about African countries.

To start with, the starter and first short film will take you on a journey to Algeria, with Frikeh soup prepared by Mourad Tchiko of Alter Start Food and the film Boussa by Azedine Kasri, then on to Morocco with a couscous prepared by Zineb Bekkali of Z Atelier in the plate and Sukar by Ilias El Faris on the screen. The evening ends in Tunisia with pastries and the film Les Pastèques du Cheikh by Kaouther Ben Hania.
