Less known and less loved grape varieties: Never Gamay! / SOLD OUT

Because there is not only Chasselas in life, and our region offers many grape varieties and talented winemakers, we propose to you an evening about less known and less loved grape varieties.

For this first evening, we will focus on Gamay.

It’s not rare to hear this heart-felt cry “Never Gamay” at the sight of this variety. We stick a label of a bland and industrial variety to it. However, the variety typical of Beaujolais has tons of advantages and this is what will

demonstrate 6 Vaudois winemakers with their Gamay.

In the magnificent setting of Château Rochefort, take advantage of the sunny terrace and taste those 6 Gamay, presented and served by the winemakers themselves. It will be accompanied by a pretty plate of mixed appetizers sourced locally.

An event open to people already in love with Gamay, or those willing to get rid of their preconceived ideas and share these tastings with captivating winemakers!

With the participation of the following winemakers:

  • Abbaye de Mont
  • Domaine Cruchon
  • Henri and Vincent Chollet
  • Blaise Duboux
  • Les Frères Dutruy
  • Domaine de la Colombe
