Every year since 1803, the City of Lausanne Estates (Domaines de la Ville de Lausanne) sell their wines at an auction held on the second Saturday of December.
The auction takes place in the emblematic Salle du Conseil Communal at the Hôtel de Ville (city hall) on Place de la Palud.
This is a unique opportunity to acquire wines from the Domaines de la Ville’s historic collection and share in a living tradition that is part of Vaud’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.
