Summer culinary camp

A fun and educational world tour to savor this summer! Through the cooking, its production, its smells, its flavors, its history and its games, children will learn to distinguish and appreciate the specificity and the richness of several regions around the world but also to take into account their taste !

This summer, the Suisserie is offering various fun and educational workshops around cuisines from around the world.

On the program for this week:

MONDAY – Nordic cuisine with the restaurant Äta

morning and noon: Discovery, with a chef, behind the scenes of a Nordic restaurant and lunch on site

afternoon: Nordic games on the shores of Lake Geneva, tasting of Swedish desserts

TUESDAY – Asian cuisine

morning and noon: Preparation of an Asian dish in a real cooking laboratory and lunch in the garden

afternoon: Asian outdoor games, history of the spice route, preparation of an Indian snack

WEDNESDAY – European cuisine, with market stalls and Royaume Melazic

morning and noon: Treasure hunt at the Lausanne market, meeting with local producers, preparation of a gourmet picnic

Afternoon: Culinary quiz and realization of the “wild snack” on the shores of Lake Leman

THURSDAY – Oriental Cuisine, with Manouchy

morning and noon: Meeting and discussion with a Lebanese restaurant chef, lunch on site

Afternoon: Outdoor games inspired by oriental tales, algebraic applications in cooking (a little math!), Making an oriental dessert

FRIDAY – American cuisine, with East Side Pully

morning and noon: Realization of a South American dish in a real kitchen laboratory and lunch in the garden

Afternoon: Meeting and discussion with a New York pastry chef in his laboratory and tasting of the afternoon tea in his restaurant


From July, 5 to 16

Children will be picked up at Lausanne station in the main hall
