A Food, a History – Swiss Culinary Heritage
Carac, Boutefas, Salée au sucre, la tresse (Swiss braided bread) …and many other specialties make up the Swiss culinary heritage, sometimes marked by influences from elsewhere or passed along by people from other backgrounds. The Lausanne Bureau for Immigrants (BLI) and Lausanne à Table are joining forces and taking over the Tunnel district, which will be at the crossroads of these flavorful encounters. This day is an invitation for you to learn and discover, through a round table, cooking workshops, and a meal featuring the region’s flavors.
