That afternoon, the contrôleur officiel des champignons and his colleagues await you in the upper town.

Meet up at Chalet-à-Gobet to comb the undergrowth for chanterelles, boletes and flycatchers.

At the end of the harvest, the mushrooms will be officially inspected and any toxic or inedible species rejected. The remaining mushrooms will be used for your omelette the following day.

After the inspection, it’s time for an aperitif!
