Two events to explore the campus’s agricultural areas and the traditional crafts of the community of l’UNIL.

Guided tour of the campus’s agricultural areas:
5.00 pm – 6.00 pm
The University of Lausanne campus covers nearly 77 hectares of extensive meadows, orchards, protected woodlands and farmland, maintained in particular by Valais Red sheep. This guided tour takes you through fields, orchards and vegetable gardens to explore these cultivated areas and gain a better understanding of their role in the management and enhancement of the site. The walk includes a tasting of produce from the campus.

Price for OAPs, disabled visitors, students and children (under 18): 5.–
Children under 6: free.

Food market: 4 pm – 8 pm
A market bringing together UNIL alumni who have become producers or artisans, student societies active in the food sector, and traders based on campus. An opportunity to discover artisanal products, chat with the people behind them, and highlight careers linked to the land and traditional skills.
