For six years now, the Miam Festival has invested the Place de la Riponne during the Pentecost weekend. About fifty stands and food trucks from the region will be present to make you discover their specialties from all over the world. The cream of the cream of the artisans of taste, concerts and free animations, all in a friendly and festive atmosphere in the heart of Lausanne.
For the first time this year, we welcome a guest city to the Miam Festival.
If we say waffles and French fries, what comes to mind? Brussels? Yes, the people of Brussels are coming to Lausanne with craftsmen, a grocer and entertainment.
Yves Mattagne, head of Gaufres & Waffles will be present with one of Brussels’ most gourmet cultural treasures, the Brussels Waffle. For the Miam Festival, the chef will be presenting his star recipes using local produce.
Fernand Obb Delicatessen offers a menu of popular Belgian cuisine made from the finest ingredients. For the Miam Festival, he’ll be offering his famous North Sea shrimp croquettes and croquettes with half-aged Flemish cheese AND Swiss cheese.
Tuck Shop will be adding its “croques” to the Miam Festival’s Brussels line-up, including a touch of Vaud!
Hop! Bruxelles a wine merchant and delicatessen from Brussels will be presenting a selection of tasty Belgian and especially Brussels products, allowing the public to take a piece of the flat country home with them.
Belga will also be part of the Brussels Village, representing Lausanne’s Belgian community with their famous traditional French fries.
We’re delighted to welcome our first guest city and give you the chance to discover the gastronomy of the Belgian capital.

Ultra-son is a Lausanne-based association which aims to provide support and comfort to people who may feel anxiety during musical and cultural events. By offering a caring presence and specific adapted arrangements, Ultra-son wishes to create a space in which everyone can relax, feel listened to and discuss mental health while getting away from the crowds and noise, would not be – just for a moment.
